Ownership & Transferability of DOTs (Digital Ownership Tokens)
Last updated: August 17, 2026
In DOT materials, ownership refers to control of the collectible token record and its documented utility. It does not mean ownership of XDRIP Digital Management LLC, project assets, issuer activity, or any external business interest.
1. Non-Transferable Nature (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary)
Each Digital Ownership Token (DOT) representing a Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, or Legendary Medal of Honor establishes a unique, personal connection between the original holder and the XDRIP ecosystem.
-
The Rule: These tokens are strictly non-transferable; they cannot be sold, traded, or reassigned to third parties.
-
The Exception: A transfer is permitted only in the event of the holder’s death, allowing the DOT to pass to a designated beneficiary. This preserves the long-term integrity and exclusivity of the Medal.
-
The Eternal DOT is different: as the collection’s founder-level license, the Eternal DOT is fully transferable. This section’s non-transferable rule and death-transfer exception apply to the Common through Legendary tiers only.
2. Non-Tradable Status
XDRIP DOTs are designed as participatory utility collectibles, not financial products. They:
-
Hold no external market or exchange value.
-
Are not intended as speculative instruments.
-
Cannot be resold or used in any form of external trading activity.
This structure keeps the focus on recognizing genuine engagement within the project.
3. Exclusive Holder Perks
All privileges and perks attached to a DOT belong exclusively to the original holder.
-
Personal Connection: These rights are personal and non-transferable.
-
Termination: Any unauthorized attempt to transfer the DOT automatically terminates all associated perks.
-
Inheritance: Only designated beneficiaries may inherit these perks, preserving the legacy within the intended family or entity.
📈 Progression & Tier Unlocking
When you forge a Medal of Honor, you permanently unlock the right to advance to higher tiers for your wallet.
-
Permanent Progression: Forging a Common Medal unlocks the ability to forge the Uncommon tier for that wallet, permanently.
-
Forger’s Advantage: Even if the token is moved to cold storage, the Progression Right remains with the original forger’s wallet.
-
Non-Inheritable Growth: Subsequent holders of a previously forged Medal do not inherit the right to progress. Only the original forger can advance the cycle.
🎁 Perk Allocation Mechanics
While progression is tied to the “Forger,” the tier’s perks and access follow the “Holder.”
Perks and access are always allocated to the wallet currently holding the Medal, regardless of who originally forged it.
-
Example Scenario:
-
You forge all 5 tiers.
-
You move your Common Medal to Wallet A (Cold Storage) and keep the rest in Wallet B (Hot Wallet).
-
The Result: Wallet A receives the perks tied to the Common tier. Wallet B receives the perks tied to Uncommon through Legendary.
-
⚠️ Critical Summary for Holders
| Feature | Status | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Progression Rights | Permanent | Stay with the original forger; allow unlocking higher tiers. |
| Perk & Access Rights | Mobile | Follow the token; the current holding wallet receives the tier’s perks. |
| Multi-Wallet Support | Allowed | You may split Medals across wallets; each wallet receives the perks tied to its holdings. |
| Security Note | Active | If a Medal is moved, its perks flow to the holding wallet — keep your wallet secure. |
Perks and access are utility features, not holder economics. They are not dividends, profit share, revenue rights, or company ownership.
