Omega Protocol — Emergency Evacuation
HellBound & Nyxor
The Omega Protocol is XColdPro's emergency evacuation feature. It is designed for situations where all digital assets must be moved immediately to safe addresses and the wallet must be destroyed from the device.
Two Operating Modes
Mode 1: Evacuate & Burn
When activated, Omega broadcasts transactions across all supported networks simultaneously. It sweeps native coins, tokens, and Digital Ownership Tokens to preconfigured emergency addresses that were set in advance. After all transactions are broadcast, the wallet is cryptographically destroyed from memory.
Mode 2: Wipe Only
Destroys the wallet from memory without moving any assets. This mode is intended for decoy wallet scenarios in which the goal is to leave nothing usable on the device.
Simulation Mode
Before Omega is used in a real emergency, the built-in Simulation mode should be used to perform a complete dry run. Simulation validates each network, checks balances, builds and signs each transaction, and reports exactly what would be evacuated, what would fail, and what would be skipped. No transactions are broadcast during simulation, and no wallet data is destroyed.
A simulation should be run after any configuration change to confirm that all holdings will evacuate correctly.
Supported Networks
| Network Group | Coverage |
|---|---|
| EVM (8) | Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Sonic |
| Bitcoin Family (4) | Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin |
| Layer-1 (11) | Cardano, Cosmos, Hedera, Stellar, Solana, XRP, Tron, Polkadot, NEAR, TON, SUI |
When to Trigger
| Scenario | Recommended Mode |
|---|---|
| Device seizure / border duress | Mode 1 — Evacuate & Burn |
| Home invasion / forced access | Mode 1 — Evacuate & Burn |
| Suspected device compromise | Mode 1 — Evacuate & Burn |
| Decoy-wallet scenario | Mode 2 — Wipe Only |
Post-Event Recovery
- If a transaction fails to broadcast, the affected assets remain at their original addresses — no asset loss occurs
- Access can be restored by importing the seed phrase into a new XColdPro installation on any device
- If Mode 2 executed: rebuild wallet context from seed on clean hardware
- Rotate passwords/keys and re-validate threat model before returning to production
Digital assets exist on the blockchain, not on the device itself. Omega protects the user by ensuring that an attacker gains nothing from the device, while the assets remain recoverable through backup and recovery materials. Emergency addresses should be configured carefully (Settings > Configure Omega) before Omega is ever needed.
