Books in XECHO
XECHO publicly positions itself as a music and audiobook streaming platform. Audiobooks and spoken word belong in the core catalog. Ebook support should be documented as a companion format wherever enabled, without implying every audiobook includes an ebook.
Audiobook release model
Document title, subtitle, series, edition, author, narrator, translator, editor, publisher, language, synopsis, cover, identifiers, ordered chapters, durations, territories, and rights to both text and recording.
Prepare one consistent master per chapter. Review the full sequence including front matter, transitions, closing credits, and bonus material.
Companion ebooks
Where enabled, document accepted formats, table of contents, typography, images, accessibility, bundle or purchase terms, synchronization, offline and DRM behavior, and updates.
The author, publisher, narrator, translator, and producer may control different rights. Record ownership of the text, performance, recording, artwork, translation, and distribution, plus agreed revenue splits.
