Overview
TRACE is our protocol for tamper-evident document verification and provenance tracking. The name stands for Tokenized Record for Authentic Content and Evidence: blockchain-based authentication with immutable attestations.
Current status
TRACE is In Development. It is currently an internal enterprise protocol used across XDRIP platforms, and we will make public access and API documentation available in a future release. Please treat the capabilities below as our direction, not as a public service.
Capabilities
Decentralized verification
TRACE is a decentralized verification system providing tamper-proof authentication for documents, assets and digital content across enterprise and government applications.
Document certification
Blockchain timestamps that prove document authenticity, with the ability to verify a file's integrity.
Provenance tracking
A chain of custody from creation to current state, tracking modifications, transfers and verification events.
Enterprise API
A RESTful API with documentation for integration into existing workflows. It is upcoming alongside public access.
Government readiness
The protocol is built for business-to-government compliance with support for regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
How TRACE fits in the portfolio
TRACE sits in the "Authentication" category, alongside DOTs as part of our core ownership infrastructure. See DOTs and Products and Solutions Overview.
Requesting a demo
The TRACE page offers a "Request Demo" action. For enquiries you can also use the channels in Contact and Careers.

- Following the chain of custody of a document or digital asset.
- Integrating verification into an existing workflow through an API, in a future release.
