The City Council, also called the Assembly of Echoes, is where the Tales of Xdripia community governs itself. Members read and discuss proposals, vote on decisions, consult the archive of concluded deliberations, and read the official chronicles from the council chambers. Authentication and voting are powered by Web3 wallet connection — RainbowKit and Wagmi — and the interface is bilingual in English and Italian. It is the one vertical where reading and participating are genuinely different activities with different requirements.

The four surfaces#

Proposals are what is currently before the Council. Strategic Deliberations is the archive of concluded decisions, which is where the reasoning behind past outcomes lives. Chronicles carries official proclamations and announcements from the chambers. My Votes is your own voting history, and exists only once you are connected.

Reading without participating#

Everything worth understanding about the Council can be read before connecting anything. The proposals, the deliberations and the chronicles are the substance; the wallet is only needed to add your voice to it. Anyone deciding whether to take part should read the deliberations archive first — it shows how the Council actually reasons, which no description can.

What this documentation will not do#

It will not walk you through connecting a wallet, casting a vote or reading a tally. Those are live actions on a live service, they involve credentials, and a guide that reproduced them would age badly and teach patterns worth phishing.
