Sending Crypto — Air-Gapped Workflow
Sending uses the air-gapped signing workflow — private keys never touch network-connected systems.
Step 1: Create Transaction (Online Device) On an internet-connected device, create unsigned transaction with destination address, amount, and network fees. Export via QR code or USB file.
Step 2: Sign Transaction (Air-Gapped XColdPro) Transfer unsigned transaction to offline XColdPro via QR scan or USB. Verify all details — destination, amount, fees. Visual Transaction Fingerprinting detects address replacement attacks. Sign with private key.
Step 3: Broadcast (Online Device) Transfer signed transaction back to online device via QR/USB. Broadcast to blockchain network. Private keys never left the air-gapped environment.
Always Verify Before Signing. Compare destination address on both sending device and signing device. Verify Visual Transaction Fingerprint matches. Check amount and fees. Never blind-sign transactions.
Clipboard Hijack Prevention: XColdPro implements multi-layer validation — checksum verification, visual address confirmation, pattern matching alerts, and QR code comparison between devices.
