This is the Universe's logistics corpus. Fleets are documented through the fleet registry, starfleet types, starship classes and manufacturers. Extraction is documented through magical geologies, the veins of Xsarathar, rites of extraction, sacred tools and the events that attend them. Exchange is documented through commerce and trade, commerce and exchange, and cosmic currencies. The Mining Tome carries the extraction side; fleet and trade material is spread across the geographic and institutional volumes.
Ships have lineages too
Recording manufacturers separately from classes, and classes separately from individual ships, allows a fleet to be read the way a family is read — by design descent as well as by ownership. When a ship matters to a story, the class record usually explains why it was built that way, and the manufacturer record explains who wanted it.
Extraction is not neutral
Rites of extraction are documented alongside the geologies they apply to. Taking material from the world carries obligation in this Universe, and the sacred tools category overlaps with the reliquary for exactly that reason. A mining record that seems to be about industry is frequently also about permission.
Currency across realms
Cosmic currencies are recorded as their own category because value is not uniform across the Sphere. Trade records are where realms meet economically, which makes them a reliable index of who is actually in contact with whom.
This documents an invented economy. Cosmic currencies are fictional instruments and have no relationship to real-world money, tokens or securities.
