Profile and Cosmic Identity

Last updated: August 21, 2026

The Sanctum profile is where your cosmic identity is managed: the representation of who you are within the Universe, distinct from any single game, forum or vertical. It is the closest thing the project has to a home for a person, which is why it sits behind authentication and why the other verticals connect to it rather than duplicating it.

One identity, several presences

You may have a profile in the Conclave for discussion, a connected wallet in the City Council for governance, a player profile in the Arcade and a commander in Terminus. These are presences, not separate people, and Sanctum is the identity they relate to. But they are not interchangeable sessions: signing in here does not sign you in there, and each surface holds its own state.

What a profile is for

It gives continuity. Achievements, the Ally journey and your position on the leaderboard accumulate against it, which turns a series of unconnected visits into a record of participation.

What to put in it

Only what you are content to have visible. A profile in a Universe with public leaderboards and public rosters is a public-facing object to some degree, and the safest assumption is that anything entered may be seen.

Profile fields, options and visibility are properties of the live service. This page describes what the profile is, not what it currently contains or offers.
